Windsor based McCauley Constructors Inc., has been chosen by the iconic SILVER GRILL CAFE in Old Town Fort Collins, CO to be the General Contractor for the renovation and revitalization of the dining and service area, and improvements to its kitchen. The construction for the diner will include updated service and kitchen countertops, new larger booth seating, refreshing of the millwork throughout areas of the restaurant, new cabinetry and flooring in two of the original five buildings and refinishing of the original hardwood floors throughout the other three buildings, and a newly paved parking lot at the rear of the building.
Owner, John Arnolfo who purchased the Silver Grill in 1979 said “It has been twenty-nine years since we fully renovated the Silver Grill; therefore, it is just the right time for some new and upgraded features that will carry us into the future while retaining the same Silver Grill atmosphere our valued customers have come to enjoy.”
McCauley Constructors President, Leon J. McCauley said “The Silver Grill has been a focal point for visitors and locals in the Fort Collins area for decades, and to be a part of its revitalization is truly an honor. Our team couldn’t be more thrilled to work with Mr. Arnolfo to help achieve his goals for the future of the restaurant we all know and love in Fort Collins.”
There will be other new improvements to watch for after the grand re-opening on the 17th; changes that will be sure to please the Silver Grill’s large customer base. Keep an eye out for those exciting new changes sometime between November and spring of 2017.
