Experience: A Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management or an Engineering degree, or equivalent experience, with a minimum 6 years experience in the commercial/industrial construction industry in a project management role. Minimum 10 years in the construction industry with preference to candidates whose experience include roles as project engineer, superintendent, and project manager.

6 years of documented experience as a project manager
10 plus years in the commercial and/or industrial construction markets
Proven leadership and managerial abilities to interact with all levels of management
Proven ability to mentor, instill teamwork, delegate and follow up effectively and build collaborative relationships
Proven and strong organizational skills with a superior attention to detail
Proven ability and desire to be a “hands-on” project manager
Proven stable, strong background in the project management roll
Proven financial and risk management capabilities
Proven analytical skills as a problem predictor, not just a problem solver
Proven job costing skills, project controls implementation and project profitablilty
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and a staff of up to 6 team members
Proven strategic planning and budgeting skills
Proven ability to schedule and lead complex construction projects
Proven communication skills - oral, written, presentation and interpersonal
Proven track record of construction management excellence, evidenced by a record of completing projects timely, providing quality work, and meeting cost objectives, while maintaining a safe and positive environment for all trades within the scope of the projects.
Experience with Timberline project management and accounting systems preferred
