McCauley Constructors Inc. was founded on September 1, 2005, in Windsor, Colorado, by Leon J. McCauley. After 33 years in the industry in both heavy industrial and commercial construction—and having continually been promoted from field engineer to project engineer to superintendent to project manager to senior project manager to estimator, and then to Vice President and project principal—with over 600 projects constructed in his career, Leon McCauley had made a strong reputation in the regional construction market and organized McCauley Constructors Inc. Since its inception in 2005, McCauley Constructors has completed over 400 projects in the Colorado, Wyoming, and Western Nebraska region, with the majority of them being in the $2 million to $17 million range. McCauley's clients range from local business owners and developers to large corporate clients, including Bobcat of The Rockies, A Storage Place, Colorado State University, Public Storage, Wal-Mart, FedEx, Peabody Energy, Energy Fuels, Kroger Corporation, and Starbucks, to name a few. Beyond local business owners, developers, and large corporate clients, McCauley has a solid reputation for its work constructing medical facilities for the University of Colorado Health and Banner Health in Northern and Northeastern Colorado. With McCauley Constructors' growth and success over the past 18 years, Leon McCauley prides his company on the assurance that every McCauley client has access to his 33 years of knowledge and experience. He continues to lead his teams of talented construction professionals. He is a hands-on owner, remaining active in the daily oversight of the overall goals and direction of every project taken on by McCauley.

Since its inception, McCauley has maintained an excellent Safety record. McCauley has had both OSHA and MSHA inspections on many of our projects, and we are proud of our exceptional safety record. As can be seen, by the types of projects we construct, just being OSHA certified is not enough. McCauley has invested in MSHA certification and training as required to work in the heavy industrial and mining industry. That says that McCauley's Safety program is a step above our competitors and we take safety as a #1 priority on our projects every day.
